Volunteer roles

Please volunteer for one or more of these roles and help make the Big Sing huge! Some require certain skills, most can be carried out by anyone with enthusiasm. Some roles are a single person, others require a few volunteers. For details of a role, see the documents in this Google Drive folder.

Chief Warden

Chaperones (10:30am - 12:20pm)
— 4 volunteers needed

Chaperones (12:10pm - 2:50pm)

Chaperones (3:40pm - 6:00pm)

Who can volunteer?

Any adult who appreciates Melbourne Youth Chorale is welcome to apply. Parents are especially encouraged to do so.

To volunteer, you must have:

  • A valid and current Victorian Working with Children Check or Victorian Teachers Registration
  • Skills and equipment required for specialist roles such as Videographer
  • The time available to do the role or task you are offering to do!  Please ensure you have considered your commitment carefully.
