Staff — Miriam Alexander

Miriam Alexander joined MYC as a chorister in 2018. Since then, she has sung in every treble voice part, completed MYC’s Gold Badge, and contributed to the redevelopment of the Bronze Badge. Her other passions are administration/management, and teaching. Conducting brought all her favourite things into one place. She has loved learning how music is translated through the conductor from the composer, to the choir, to the audience.

Miriam is currently studying Grade 6 Clarinet and Grade 7 Public Speaking. She teaches creative writing to homeschoolers aged 10-16, and is Assistant Vocal Director for the Homeschool Musical Society.
