We ensure that every child has the access and opportunity to receive MYC’s gift of music through affordable fees and relying on grants and donations to cover the majority of our costs. Children and young people of all backgrounds, abilities and financial circumstances can benefit from the program.

MYC relies on your generosity to fund the delivery of its weekly rehearsals and music theory program. Our annual target for sponsorships and donations is $50,000. Donations are used by MYC’s Board of Management (all volunteers) to cover the balance of operational costs of running rehearsals, such as paying staff, and administrative costs such as website management, marketing, printing etc

In 2024 we launched our ‘Friends of MYC’ program. You can become a member of the Friends of MYC by committing to a monthly or one-off subscription payment. All subscribers receive special ticket discounts and other opportunities to engage more closely with MYC, and get to support our work! Read More
